Emily Post never covered the etiquette basics for sushi, but Chef Osamu “Fuji” Fujita, Master Sushi Chef of Loews Hotels, is ready to tackle the job with his brand-new “SushiSKool” for kids at Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort. Held on Saturdays throughout the summer, the one-hour class is designed to teach the next generation of sushi lovers (ages 5 through teens) the basics of ordering, using chopsticks, eating different types of sushi and sushi etiquette. Priced at $20 per child, the SushiSKool classes will be held at the Sushi Bar at Marssa restaurant, Saturdays from Memorial Day through Labor Day. For accompanying moms, Chef Fuji’s “Mommy Maki” add-on includes wine and an assortment of maki rolls (priced at $25 per person with a child in the class).
