Recreation:  The resort offers a half-acre free form pool with 12 waterfalls, three whirlpools, two water slides and a swinging rope bridge. Lake Windsong covers 21 acres and has 1,000 feet of white sand beach. Canoes and paddleboats are available as well as bicycles, volleyball, shuffleboard, basketball, tennis and a driving range.

In addition, a nine-hole pitch and putt golf course is available for practicing short shots and putting. Clubs, tees and balls are provided.

The 24/7 Fitness Center facility, located in the pool area, features state of the art fitness equipment and licensed massage therapists. A 1.3 mile fitness/exercise trail, as well as a 3.2 mile and 4.7 mile jogging trail are also available.

Grand Cypress Nature Area and Audubon Walk features elevated boardwalks and descriptive signs leading visitors into 45 acres of natural Florida terrain preserved in cooperation with the Florida Audubon Society.

All of the above activities are included in the Resort Services Program at a $15 per room daily charge.

Parking / Shuttles: Complimentary self-parking is available or valet parking is offered for $18 per day. A daily shuttle service is available throughout the 1,500-acre complex along with available transportation to the Disney, Sea World and Universal theme parks.

Child Activities: A child care facility for ages three to 12 years is located on the lobby level and is open Sun. - Thurs. from 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. and Fri. - Sat. from 8 a.m. - 11 p.m. For guests ages five to 12 years, Camp Hyatt® offers full ($60) and half ($30) day supervised activities. Open daily Memorial Day through Labor Day from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. and only Sat. - Sun. the rest of the year. In-room sitters are also available.

Meeting Space:  Planning a family wedding?  Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress features more than 65,000 square feet of function space and includes 29 meeting areas on two levels, seven atrium-level board rooms, a 16,768-square-foot exhibit hall and the 24,960-square-foot Grand CypressBallroom. Nearly unlimited choices of outside venues are also available for special events, including our "Wilderness" area, that can serve food and drink for up to 1,000 people with a variety of themes ranging from The Old West, to a Night in the Everglades or even a Tuscan retreat.

Restaurants and Lounges:

La Coquina: Elegant 114-seat gourmet restaurant offers a seasonal Sunday Brunch, overlooking lush greenery and Lake Windsong. La Coquina also offers the innovative Chef's Table dinner experience seasonally featuring a sumptuous seven-course menu that varies daily. The chef will also pair menu items with a superb selection of wines to complement the flavor of the food.

Hemingway's: 120-seat, Old Key West-inspired, seafood and steak restaurant perched atop the center of the swimming pool

Cascade: 180-seat full-service, casually elegant restaurant with 35-foot high waterfall

White Horse Bar & Grill: 101-seat upscale sports themed restaurant, featuring the highest quality steaks, fresh seafood, tender lamb chops and more.

Palm Cafe & General Store: 136-seat, self-service indoor/outdoor restaurant and general store offering sandwiches, entrees, pizza, desserts and quick snacks

Trellises: Featuring a new sushi bar with Orlando's premier Chef Yoshi in the Atrium

Hurricanes Lounge: Located in Hemingway's and offers a beautiful view of the resort

On The Rocks: A pool-side bar offering cool drinks and a complete lunch menu

Leisure Activities: Grand Cypress Golf Club, exclusively for Resort guests, offers 45 holes of award-winning Jack Nicklaus Signature Design golf. The 18-hole New Course is designed after the Old Course at St. Andrews, Scotland along with the North nine, South nine and East nine. A clubhouse with two restaurants, The Club and Nine18, and a golf shop are also featured on the property.

Grand Cypress Academy of Golf offers a wide variety of programs year-round for golfers of all skill levels. The property also features a three-hole course, putting, chipping, pitching greens, practice bunkers, driving range and golf shop. The academy is available to customize programs for groups of any size.

Grand Cypress Equestrian Center provides private or group instruction for all levels of riders. Western Trail Rides, offering three skill levels, are available as well as weekly clinics. The facility was the first in the United States to be "approved" by the British Horse Society for livery and training.

Grand Cypress Racquet Club features eight clay courts, four hard courts and five lighted courts for night play along with a 150-seat grandstand and tennis pro shop.

There is a range of options for group activities and are available to assist with organizing tournaments.
